Wilgress Books is an independent book shop found in the historical city of Lincoln. The bookshop is located in the Cultural Quarter and is very close to both the museum and the Usher art Gallery. The book shop opened the doors back in February 2015 by owner Guy Wilgress Hudson. Wilgress Books has a wide selection of new and used books. If you are selling a collection of used books please contact the book shop directly and speak to Guy Hudson. 01522589275. facilities at the shop include W/C, free drinks, book ordering/search services, seating is available. The location is very close to the top of the pedestrian high street. Grantham Street is easily accessible next to Pizza Express. Wilgress Books offer a variety of events both regular and occasional. The book shop is available to hire for literary related events. The book shop is able to provide an evening rehearsal space for small bands/Theatre/Performers and Group meetings. please contact the book shop directly via email or call 01522589275 to discuss your requirements and booking fees. The approximate fee for book shop hire is £15 hour and the provision of support with your activity £12.50 hour. N.B the book shop has a low ceiling. approx. 8-9 ft high. Wilgress Books host a regular Spoken Word open mic night. Date of next event TBA. We have a lecture program that delivers a diverse group of speaker who speak on a wide range of subjects.
