William George was set up to allow customers to auction their goods online without being charged a premium to do so. As a family run business we wanted to ensure that the company operated with the seller's interests in mind. Allowing the seller to keep 100% of what their items make in auction seems only fair to us. We can claim our margins from the buyer alone, unlike other auction companies who claim fees at both ends! The greatest thing about our company is that we get to deal in everything from the weird to the wonderful. We love the variety and the opportunities that this brings. As with all growing businesses we have branched out into other areas and have started to broker deals for companies whose items did not meet reserve in our auction. This website will have many of these items listed here for sale so keep checking back for updates. Our head office is in Peterborough and we are thrilled and excited by how William George has grown and we all feel lucky to have such a fantastic team to work alongside.
