Great question today: What is WISDOM Dental? We are a team of dental professionals that practice in academia and clinically. In our many years of practice in various dental settings, we have realized the general lack of emphasis on the importance of dental health in relation to the overall systemic health – by both medical professions and the public. Our concern is that the oral cavity – better known as the mouth – is the portal to your body, so why should it not be seen as an important part of one’s health? Now, we have made it our passion to minimize this stigma… We believe that by providing current research-based dental education – to healthcare professionals and the general public – there will be an increased understanding of the importance of dental health. In turn this will improve the overall health of the general population and decrease the stresses of public healthcare demands longterm.
