A house of education and empowerment defending against homelessness. Women in Circle is a house that welcomes women from all walks of life to empower and support one another toward a life full of health, hope, and healing.

Description

This page is meant to spread the word about Women in Circle in Louisville, KY. The house is a home to live in, a community of sisters that provide support for each other, and a structure conducive to a life style of change and recovery. The house members will take part in skills building activities conducted through social groups that meet on a monthly basis, book clubs, quilting, knitting, job readiness, resume writing, arts/crafts, and other skills needed to make the members of the house the best women they can be. Educational and preventive programs are conducted by a team of professionals on chemical dependency issues, family matters, legal and financial matters, as well as HIV/AIDS and STD prevention and awareness. Women in Circle provides an array of possibilities for women seeking empowerment and motivation out of alcohol and drug addiction.
