S-F, horror & anime models are celebrated in Louisville! WonderFest is THE annual expo for model and toy collectors of s-f, horror & comics subjects--especially plastic kits & garage kits.

Description

WonderFest is held every summer in Louisville, Kentucky USA! It features movie special effects guests, the largest model contest in the U.S. for sci-fi, horror & comics-related subjects, model and toy dealers galore, and seminars to entertain and improve hobbyists of all ages! Each of our staff has fond childhood memories of reading Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine, building Aurora model kits and seeing great movies full of wonder and imagination. We'd be thrilled to share that happy experience with new generations...and older ones, too.

SHOW HOURS: WonderFest 2014 • Saturday May 31st & Sunday June 1st • Show hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days HOTEL: The mothership of WonderFest is the Crowne Plaza Hotel. It offers an ideal combination of size, location, facilities and service. Reservation Hotline: 1-888-233-9527 ADMISSION: WonderFest admissions can only be purchased at the door; no advance tickets are available. Adults: $25 for 1-day, $33 for 2-day ticket Ages 4 to 12: $8 for 1-day $11 for 2-day ticket Ages 3 and under: Free Early Bird Admission (gets you in 2 hours early at 8 a.m. Saturday): $55 2-day ticket The Admissions Booth will be open on Friday from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. (show does not open till 10 a.m. Saturday). Contest entry forms may be purchased at this time. Admissions will reopen Saturday morning at 7:30 and will remain open during show hours only. No one will be allowed to enter the Dealer's Room until 10 a.m. on Saturday (except Early Birds who pay extra to come in 2 hours early). On Sunday, Admissions will open at 9:30 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. CONTEST: Entry Hours: Saturday, May 18th, from 8 a.m. 'til Noon $9.00 per first 2 models for adults, up to 8 additional entries free $7.00 per first 2 models for teens, up to 8 add'l entries free (ages 13-19) Free for ages 12 & under NOTE: $5 additional charge for oversize entries; see rule #3 for size limits.
