Hi everybody, if there is anybody with some spare time tomorrow, Friday, we are looking for some help with manual labour, pushing wheel borrows etc., for renovating/re-seeding the cricket square. Any help would be much appreciated as the contractor has let us down and so it's down to Barry and me to do it. 9.30am start. Cheers. Adrian

And so it is. The 2014 league season came to a close yesterday, marked by the final player of the month awards. Amid a sea of booze and hotdogs Ian Burrows and Paul Wearmouth emerged as the winners. Congratulations to all who have played with such great distinction this year for the 4 league teams. Golf break update - the original choice of course is not available due to the greens being renovated. The best available alternative is Meon Valley GC near Southampton. It has 27 holes which we will play a combination of over the 2 days. They have availability on 12/13 April for up to 16 of us. Price will be £95. If you are interested in coming and haven't already confirmed I will need to know within next couple of weeks so I can secure the booking. Deposit of £40 needed by the end of the month, the balance at least 1 month before travel.
Worcester Park CC Winter nets are re starting at Richard Challoner School, every Sunday from 25 Jan from 12.30-130pm. New players welcome. Cost approx. £5 a week subject to numbers.
