Wayne State University's Hybrid Warriors are competing in the EcoCAR 2: Plugging into the Future challenge!
EcoCAR 2: Plugging into the Future is a three year engineering competition sponsored by GM and DOE. Wayne State University is one of 15 North American universities that have been selected to hybridize a GM donated 2013 Chevy Malibu. The team is entering year three of the competition which consists of optimizing their car.

We finished year three off strong! Placing 7th overall and snagging two awards. This experience has been beneficial to us all and we could not thank General Motors and the Department of Energy enough for the opportunity! #EcoCAR #AVTCs #EcoFAMILY

Today is a big day. We have a Media Ride and Drive in front of the U.S. Department of Energy from 10:00-12:30 and then final awards are this evening. You can watch the award ceremony streaming live online- details coming soon!
