Yellow Arch Studios

at 30-36 Burton Road, Sheffield , S3 8BX United Kingdom

Venue, band rehearsal space and music recording services - all under one roof in Sheffield's Kelham Island. In 2006, The Arctic Monkeys won the Mercury Music Prize: they rehearse at Yellow Arch. But everyone had expected Cole's Corner, by Richard Hawley, to win: that was recorded at Yellow Arch. In 2009, Tony Christie made a comeback with the most-played single on Radio 2 and a Glastonbury appearance: he recorded and rehearsed at Yellow Arch. Also at Glastonbury, promoting his new album, was Jarvis Cocker: he uses Yellow Arch. 5 years ago, Reverend and the Makers were an unknown band called Judan Suki: they recorded at Yellow Arch. So did Little Man Tate. And The Klaxons. And The Maccabees. And The Wedding Present. And Goldfrapp. And with rehearsals starting at £5 per hour and demo deals from as little as £100, Yellow Arch could be part of your history too. Give us a call, or pop in. We're very friendly, and we know what we're doing.
