Local charity working in and around Cambridge, Comberton, Histon, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Wisbech and Girton to help young people, families and communites alike to enrich their lives. We at YMCA Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are very proud of the projects we have developed and the services we are able to provide to our young people. The support we offer is the most important aspect of our work. We consider every young person as someone carrying innate worth and value equal to anyone else in society. We are passionate about developing these young people. We work with many who have suffered homelessness or come from tough or disadvantaged backgrounds, but also plenty who just are young people looking for some fun activates. Ranging from housing, youth work and counselling to health and fitness and Instructor Training, we have something for everyone.

YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough is a Christian Charity working to enable communities, families and especially young people to grow to their full potential by participating in a supportive and inclusive society, through all our projects, including housing, youth work, and health & fitness.

Our housing hostels are based in Cambridge (01223 356998) Peterborough Time Stop (01733 891891) and Peterborough The Cresset (01733 269621) We have fully equiped gyms in both Cambridge & Peterborough offering a host of different classes from general exercise sessions to gym instructor training. You can contact the gym manager for further information on 01223 273812 or check out our website www.ymcafitness.org.uk We offer counselling specifically for young people aged between 13 - 25 years.
