There are numerous benefits to be gained from introducing yoga practice to your life. Mentally, Yoga can increase concentration, memory and creativity. Physically, it can improve flexibility, strength, coordination, relieve muscle tension, and treat a whole range of health problems. Emotionally, it can reduce stress and anxiety, relieve depression, stabilize mood, induce a sense of calm, and help release anger and negative emotions. I am a fully qualified yoga teacher. I studied at a renowned yoga institute in India (Yoga Point), where I gained a 1st class diploma in Yoga Education. I currently volunteer at am organisation called The Junction, where I teach a class to service users. I also run a small evening class, but that is currently full.
