To build healthier, stronger communities by sharing yoga that is accessible to all and by supporting those who are dedicated to inspire others through yoga
OUR MISSION: To build healthier, stronger communities by sharing yoga that is accessible to all and by supporting those who are dedicated to inspire others through yoga. HOW WE DO IT: We make yoga accessible by providing free yoga classes in our community parks, which allows every individual an opportunity to practice in their community regardless of their ability to pay. Yoga Moves Us is reaching out to communities one neighborhood at a time, connecting people through yoga and championing healthy habits. Starting in the Spring of 2015 Yoga Moves Us was created as part of its effort an expand yoga programs into other cities and neighborhoods. What makes Yoga Moves Us such a powerful program is that it unites neighbors, it unites surrounding yoga studios and teachers, and ultimately unites individuals to a practice that is proven to create a healthier lifestyle. Yoga Moves Us is a California 501(c)(3) (EIN# 47-4189002) nonprofit organization encouraging health and Wellness as well as community connection throughout California and beyond. The goal is to create Wellness for the practitioners and a deeper feeling of community in neighborhoods. 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to program costs and to pay our teachers so that they may be able to share their love of yoga.

CSFA is dedicated to ensuring our members a strong and united voice in the evolution of of the fire service through unity in leadership, political action, education, training and quality member services. The California State Firefighters' Association began in 1922, when a small group of firefighters met in Fresno to discuss the state of the fire service in California. After some discussion, it was decided that the very best way to serve the public and firefighters was to form an organization to work towards enacting laws to protect the public from fire and to improve working conditions for firefighters. As a result of that first conference, the California State Firefighters' Association, Inc. was born. From this initial gathering, a membership of more than 24,000 has grown. Members include paid, volunteer, military and industrial firefighters, members of the California Department of Forestry, United States Forest Disaster Office, Office of Emergency Services (Fire and Rescue Division), State Fire Marshal's Office, State Fire Service and Training Program and California state-employed firefighters. Time has proven that a consolidated effort of California's fire service through CSFA has helped all its branches.
