KRFE - AM 580 Lubbock
6602 Martin L King Blvd Lubbock , TX 79404 United States

"The Station that Listens to Lubbock" AM580 KRFE AM 580 was a vision of Big “Ed Wilkes” long before he put the station on the air in 1994. AM 580 is one of the few locally owned and operated radio stations in the West Texas area. Just like “Big Ed” we believe in Lubbock and it’s people. So, KRFE AM 580 “The Station that Listens to Lubbock” was built on a strong foundation of faith and hope. “Big Ed” was the king of morning radio on the South Plains, along with co-host and son, Wade Wilkes. Although “Big Ed” passed away December 21, 1998, his dream still lives on today through his son.

Wellness isn’t about deprivation and it’s not about perfection. It is about pointing yourself in the direction of growth, training yourself to get comfortable with your highest potential, and then taking small steps to support that shift. It’s about showing up for yourself, day by day, and then one day finding that you’ve undergone a transformation. — Kathy Freston
