Z Cooks is currently a small, home-based catering service. It began as an offering, catering receptions as a way to give back to my practice community - but after a while I realized that not only do I have a real passion for it, but people seem to love my food! Deeply committed to local sustainability and the farm-to-table concept of cooking and eating, I do my best to buy fresh, seasonal products only from local farms and markets. I don't feed family, friends, or (now) clients anything from a package....ever. Everything I serve is fresh and homemade, guaranteed! Much of the catering I've done so far has been Gluten-Free, Vegan and Vegetarian - admittedly because I was cooking for a few people with serious food allergies or sensitivities and it was a lot of fun learning how to cook for them - but that's not all that I cook - just *wait* until you try Z's (almost famous) Bacon Upside-Down Cornbread!
