Zedhead Games is a fledgling independent games studio in Leeds, England. We're developing unique game experiences for mobile platforms, PCs and consoles.

Description

Welcome to the official Zedhead Games Facebook page. We are a small, independent games development studio based in Leeds, England. Our aim is to develop unique game concepts and experiences for mobile platforms with a view to harnessing the power of consoles and PCs for our more adventurous concepts. Some of our initial concepts will feature both entertainment value and educational value. We feel there is a place for education in games as long as a happy balance is found. Zedhead Games is a tiny two-man team, made up of Sean White and Stephen Taylor; we’re a small, independent games development studio based in Leeds in the UK. We formed the company under no illusions of grandeur, having both witnessed the difficulties many experience in the gaming industry. Through circumstance, we found ourselves both unemployed at the same time and struggling to determine what to do next with our lives. An idea began to form. Before long, Sean had reignited a love for a character he created in the late 90’s in high school and remembered his dreams of seeing said character in a video game one day – he became inspired and ran off with the idea. Just a few short weeks later, a fully formed game concept was presented to Stephen and we then both convinced one another to make it a reality. After almost daily discussions, all the elements of Zedhead Games began to form, plans began to get made and soon it was time to bite the bullet and dive right in to developing our first game. We are excited to begin this new journey in the games industry and we’ll make no bones about it – we’re an honest duo – we’re winging it, but we’re strapped in for the ride and we hope you’ll join us as we take our first concepts from mind, to paper, to code, to market.
