The Camellia House B&B is a gracious old "Raised Louisiana Cottage" located in the heart of Covington's downtown historic district. Step off our porch and walk the town, browse our wonderful shops and art galleries, dine at our fine restaurants, enjoy our many street fairs and festivals, walk or ride the Tammany Trace, and then - come home. Come home to swing on the porch, float in the POOL, sit fireside in the garden, relax in the outdoor HOT TUB, and then nestle into a luxurious bed. Each suite is fully private and self contained and has its own PRIVATE ENTRANCE from one of our lovely porches. Each has PRIVATE BATH, WIRELESS INTERNET, cable tv with vcr/dvd, microwave, coffee service and fully stocked refrigerator. Continental Plus Breakfast is setup in the privacy of your suite the evenings before so that you may rise and dine at your leisure. Each suite has 11 foot ceilings, heart pine floors and are furnished with antiques and architectual accent pieces. Our suites are extremely comfortable, have a wonderful historic eclectic flavor yet are thoroughly modern and are not fussy or overdone. The ORLEANS AND COTTAGE Suites have PRIVATE ENTRANCES, fireplaces, bigger space, beautiful KING beds, balcony and screened porch respectively. Our finest accommodations. The Plantation and Heritage Suites feature  PRIVATE ENTRANCES through a gated brick courtyard and beautiful 4 poster beds. A smaller accommodation but nothing was spared for your comfort. Your Owner / Innkeepers, Maureen is originally from Jackson, MS and moved to NewOrleans when she was 12. Tom is a native New Orleanian. Maureen and Tom have worked to create a getaway environment to help you regenerate your life and your relationships.
