Description
I create whimsical paintings with strong color combinations and figures rendered with different woven patterns. Resembling basket-weave puzzles or electronic circuitry, my paintings gather the human experience in color fields and lines, where each instance lived becomes part of the self. They may seem complex at first glance, but the physical interconnectedness of shapes and planes make up the visual whole. For me, man is constantly changing, evolving, and it is his experiences that make up the building blocks not only of his personality, but his relationships with the people around him and the community at large. Whether as a social commentary, nature scenes. Intervened by technology or a gathering of the masses, my paintings are mosaics of life pieced together on canvas.
