Nested along the peaceful shore of the Rainy River, and just south of the Lake of the Woods, this resort offers the perfect retreat for both large families and individuals alike. They offer excellent fishing all year round, and our guests have actually caught world record walleye in these waters.

A year-round fishing get away. We have a total of 11 full housekeeping cabins. In the cabins you will find a stove, full size refrigerator, electric coffee pot, microwave, dishes, pots and pans and utensils, dish soap, paper towels and kitchen linens are included. Each bedroom has two twin size beds, which have the linens, blanket and comforter on them. The bathroom features a tub/shower, stool and sink, dining area and living room in most units are together all units have a couch, table and chairs and direct TV. Eight units are on the water of those eight six of them have decks; there are charcoal grills for guest use. The other three units are double wide, two of them sleep seven.

Wheelers Point Resort is located where the Rainy River enters Lake of the Woods, the Walleye Capitol of North America. We’re a year round, full service resort with fully equipped modern cabins, bar and grill, fishing charter service, ice fishing houses, sleeper houses, hunting setups, along with boat and pontoon rentals.   Our ViewPoint Saloon and Grill has a simply fantastic view overlooking the Rainy River. It offers a full bar, 6 TV’s,  games, pool table and dining room serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.   We’re the perfect place for your fishing and hunting trips, family vacations, business meetings or corporate retreats. We also have RV camping sites with full hook ups, along with a marina offering gas, live bait, boat & motor rentals and boat slips.
