Bandhej was started by Archana Shah after she graduated from the National Institute of Design in 1981. Over three decades, in collaboration with crafts people across the country, Bandhej has created a distinct idiom in its design and acquired a reputation for the quality of its products. The brand offers a variety of textiles and textures, sarees and garments in khadi, organic cotton, tie dye bandhanis, ikats, patolas, brocades, intricately hand crafted textiles embellished with embroidery, applique and metallic mukaish.
