Beyond Conflict assists leaders in divided societies by facilitating direct contact with individuals who have navigated similar challenges in other settings. With more than 70 initiatives in 22 countries, Beyond Conflict has brought together senior leaders from 70 countries around the world. Through organizing high-level meetings, consultations, conferences and workshops, Beyond Conflict acts as a neutral facilitator and emphasizes the human dimension of conflict. From the fall of communism to the Arab Spring, Beyond Conflict has helped build trust between bitter enemies, cleared the path for peace talks, supported transitions to democracy and promoted national reconciliation following some of the most violent conflicts of recent years.
