We offer two distinct areas at Wilderness Resort. There is an area of cabins for rent and villas for rent on beautiful Middle Cullen Lake for your entire family to enjoy. We also have a private area of villas for sale and quarter share ownership where you can enjoy your own home all 4 seasons. This secluded lakeshore resort offers a private, sandy beach. The newly constructed villas are nestled in a wooded site with mature trees. Enjoy luxurious individual villas with log exteriors on the shores of Middle Cullen Lake. Hideaway Resort is right in the center of what has been known as Minnesota’s favorite vacation area for well over 100 years. Since the early days of fishermen coming to Brainerd’s “Lake Country” by train, the peaceful north woods with pine studded forests and sky blue waters has become the icon for “getting away from it all.” Even so, we’re very easy to find. 20 miles north of Brainerd, and sitting a short hop from Minnesota’s longest paved bike trail (the Paul Bunyan Trail), we’re about two hours from the Twin Cities. Each of our cabins has been recently built from the ground up. Dressed in north woods knotty pine, each cabin offers a “great room” (kitchen, dining, and living area.) A cozy gas fireplace, beautiful view of the lake, two separate bedrooms with queen size in the master, and bath with shower, set your home away from home. A full stove/oven, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, and dishwasher make the kitchen easy and fun. A color/cable TV, barbeque grill, and attached deck top it all off. Each cabin sleeps six comfortably.

Step back in time to an era gone by. Linger Longer Lodge (formerly Hoosier's Resort) is the site of three charming and rustic cabins: Gunflint, Tulip and Surfside. All cabins are located at the water's edge in a Northwoods setting on peaceful Sibley Lake. Each cabin offers a spectacular view of the lake, since each front door is located only a few steps from the water. You will enjoy the serenity of being the onle resort on the lake! And Don't forget leashed pets are always welcome.
