Description
The Break Free Foundation is a CIC (Community Investment Company). The Break Free Foundation was set up to provide Young People either with Disabilities or who are Disengaged or Deprived the opportunity to have experiences they might otherwise not have. These opportunities are provided as 'taster days' to County Councils and other youth groups / organizations and can be up to a week, but most often they are 1-2 days. The activities are proved through a marine environment. We operate a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training center that has a yacht capable of taking 4 Young people, skipper and a volunteer, A RIB (Ridged Inflatable Boat) and canoes and Kayaks some of which are adapted for people with physical disabilities.
