Reel "Redneck" Adventures is a licensed and insured charter service. We specialize in coastal and inshore saltwater fishing charters around the Port Fourchon/Leeville/Grand Isle area of Louisiana. We conduct our coastal charters in state waters of the Gulf of Mexico aboard our 30' catamaran the "Nauti-Kat". Trips focus on catching a variety of species depending on season & condition. These include cobia, snapper, trout, redfish, mackerel and shark. The coastal trips are ideal for those who aren't comfortable going 30 or more miles offshore but want to be able to experience fishing the Gulf. The Nauti Kat is comfortable and includes amenities such as an enclosed head, shower, bunks, covered deck, refrigerator, radar, plenty of seating, and an air conditioned cabin (prior notice needed). Her twin Mercury 250's get you out fishing quickly and allow us plenty of range. We are able to accommodate 6 passengers and crew. A deck hand is normally provided on these trips.(tips excluded) Our inshore trips are aboard the "Nauti-Girl", a 17' Mako skiff. She was purchased new in 2012 and will get you back in the shallows of the marsh. These trips focus on catching trout, redfish and flounder. We can carry up to 3 passengers plus the guide on these trips but two is more comfortable. If you have a bigger group we can make arrangements for other boats. We furnish all fuel, bait, tackle, ice and fish cleaning. You should bring your own drinks and food. Also raingear, sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended. You must provide a valid LA fishing license. Trips are appx. 8HR but we can usually accommodate longer or half day trips with advance notice. We can also assist with lodging.
