Description Trinidad and Tobago is the most unique country in the Caribbean, that is if I do say so myself. :-) This twin island nation brought the world, “The greatest show on earth” Carnival. There is nothing else like it in the world, not Brazil and not New Orleans. They also brought the Steelpan (please don’t say Steel Drum, that is just wrong). Calypso, Soca and Limbo. They have vast resources for such a small country, the pitch lake, natural gas, hummingbirds, and other rare birds and the leather-back turtle. With all these treasures and much more, it is no wonder that the people are just as unique. Of the four (4) black women ever to own the title of Miss Universe, the first two (2) are from Trinidad & Tobago. With all that, it is no wonder that the Trindadian accent, according to a recent poll, is the fourth sexiest accent in the world. This app helps you understand what Trinbagonians mean when they say certain words, phrases or parables. It is not a dictionary per say, as in, “How do I say this in Trini?” but rather, “What did he mean when he said that?” :-) Just click on Word, Phrase or Parable and look up the meaning of certain things you heard. If you like a word or phrase you can save it to your Favourites. The user can also learn a few things about the twin islands and view a few images as well. If the user is aware of a certain word, phrase or parable that they cannot find in the app, or if there is slang being used today that should be in the app, the user can send to the app creator directly from with in the app. Once the slang is verified it will be added in a future update, along with the name of the person(s) that submitted it. Have fun and enjoy! ...More. Trini Speak Support. iPhone Screenshots iPhone Screenshot 1 iPhone Screenshot 2
