Grab a Chaii preferable kharak and take a seat we have so much to tell you..The Chaiiwala story… A dream to make a simple living to feed his family and send his kids to school. It all started 90 years ago, in the markets of Delhi. His wife was known for her tea across the neighbourhood and he saw an opportunity to capitalise. A small stall was set, selling ‘Tea for a Rupee’. He may not have been wealthy but he was determined to provide his family with life’s little luxuries to ease the struggle of living in a house made of tree branches and scrap metal. He was enterprising. He was an inspiration. He was the first Chaiiwala of our family. The recipe remains the same. 90 years old. Still refreshing. A family secret.
