Chris is a highly ranked and certified teacher, holding one of the major yoga teacher certifications in the world. Darwin's Flametree yoga studio is a vibrant yoga centre offering a wide variety of classes to cater to a diverse range of people. It is readily accessible to all students of yoga in Nightcliff, Casuarina, Fannie Bay, Palmerston, Coconut Grove, CBD or other Darwin regions. There are 2 fully equipped studios of different sizes offering a 7 day a week timetable and a teacher training programme . The style of yoga taught at Flametree is called Iyengar yoga... one of the major yoga styles in the world. It is practised by both men and women - any age, any body shape and any level of flexibility. The teachers at the studio are passionately committed to teaching yoga and believe in its power to transform us wherever we are at in our lives. All the teachers are long term practitioners, qualified through many years of specialist training to teach Iyengar yoga.
