We are just a group of car guys building a formula car!

Description

The Formula SAE team at VCU intends to build a “Formula One” style race car and enter it into Formula SAE competitions, whereupon completion of the car will be judged in design and performance. We will compete against over 140 schools from 13 countries around the world. Our team of students from engineering, business, and art disciplines at the university is dedicated to building a winning race car. With the culmination of different disciplines throughout the project, Ram Head Racing will strive to provide an extensive learning environment for each discipline. We encourage members to learn from students that differ in major in an attempt to provide greater communication skills, teamwork, product design knowledge, and focused team vision of the overall goal. This is the first ever Formula SAE team at VCU and we hope to provide a great memorable experience encompassing an intense educational value closer to a real world career for our members.
