The FVHS is a non-profit, registered charity, located in Mission, B.C., Canada. We are here to help the community of Mission and their feline friends in need. The Fraser Valley Humane Society was first formed in the Summer of 1999, when the Fraser Valley (BC, Canada) was put on flood alert. With the cooperation of veterinary facilities and volunteers from the community, we were able to establish a telephone hot-line and database to register and coordinate foster homes for pets in need. This database was available to other areas as needed, and therefore a network of help was created.
