Cafe Brosseau
2716 North 21st Street Tacoma , WA 98406 null

A family friendly cafe where the coffee and food are local and fresh. Our cafe is named for the Brosseau twins. They were French-Canadian and lived in Tacoma at the turn of the 20th Century. In 1907 they built a grocery store and home at North 21st and Anderson. The original grocery building remains and now houses our cafe and Mash, a home brewing supply store. We named it to honor the history of the building, the area, and because we like how the name sounds! To pronounce it just think "Brew-So." Appropriate for a coffee shop, n'est-ce pas?

Infinite Soups
445 Tacoma Avenue South Tacoma , WA 98402 null

We serve, fresh homemade soups – our menu changes daily but we offer dozens every day! We offer creamy and non-creamy soups, as well as vegan and vegetarian options daily. We have baked goods from Corina Bakery in addition to crackers as a perfect supplement to our soups. Feel free to comment or e-mail us with any questions or comments. Infinite Soups is the perfect name for this restaurant – a seemingly infinite number of soups, and only soup, is what they sell. A revolving menu offers at least 20 daily choices. The soups here run the gamut in ingredients and textures. Vegetarian soups, vegan soups and lots of meat soups. Thin soups, chunky soups, chili and even soups that almost could qualify as stew. A successful Kickstarter campaign gave Infinite Soups a great boost. They raised $5,590 from 117 backers. Check it out here.

Stink Cheese-Meat
628 St Helens Ave Tacoma , WA 98402 null

While the word “stink” can conjure up some negative connotations, we at STINK Cheese-Meat believe the word represents everything good about old world food and drink. The Europeans have always treated wine and beer as food. For centuries they have understood the relationship between good food and drink that goes beyond satisfying hunger – it facilitates passion.  We want you to experience what we already know. With this said, we know STINK is not for everyone. You won’t find a big, buttery-oakey chardonnay or bold and bitter IPA, but if you are willing to step out of the box, we will show you a beer or wine that has stood the test of time. Our beverages not only taste amazing, they tell a story. Add a hunk of cheese or cured meat to the equation and it’s time to take a journey you will want to take again, and again.
