Description

HaliLindy is a Budding new Dance School in Halifax that caters primarily to Swing Dancing. With its exceptional group of instructors, innovative teaching methods and on the fly silliness; HaliLindy is a new wave for dance schools in Halifax. A Partnered dance originating in the 1930s in underground afro-american bars, Swing dancing is a highly improvisational and carefree dance as was necessary back in those somber days. The more creative and innovative the moves, the better the dance became. Fast forward 80 years and Swing has had a revival, and this revival has made its way to Halifax. Come join us for some history, dancing and culture as we take you through the motions and get you on the dance floor in style, and confidence.
