Description

The collection includes portraits and topographical views of Hampshire and its people dating from the 1850s to the present day. It also includes an extensive archive of transport related photographs that includes vehicles made by Thornycroft, Wallis and Steevens and other local firms. The collection over 250,000 photographic prints, negatives, glass plate negatives, lantern slides and transparencies can be visited by appointment at our Winchester stores, email Wendy.bowen@hampshireculturaltrust.org.uk for more information or to book your visit.
