Shannon Garrett is an Autoimmune Thyroid Recovery Nurse Expert, Certified Functional Nurse-Nutritionist & LDN Nurse Educator with a specialty for working with women who have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism. Shannon Garrett received her education from Amridge University, Aquinas College School of Nursing, National Institute of Whole Health, Institute of Functional Medicine, Allegra Learning Solutions, The Spencer Institute, and American Holistic Nurses Association. She has many nurse-specific certifications in environmental toxins, clinical aromatherapy, holistic stress & anxiety management and cardiac specialty nursing. She continues her education in functional and integrative medicine. Prior to devoting her career to helping women reverse autoimmune thyroid disease, she was the founder and CEO of an orthopedic patient care facility in Kentucky. She also wrote a grant allowing for the providing free foot care clinics for the indigent diabetic patient community via churches & rural housing authority courts. Shannon's program received national recognition and was the foundational model for multiple foot care screening programs to help low income diabetic patients nationwide.
