PROVIDER HISTORY My name is Margaret (Ms. Peggi) Kahler and I am a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I have lived in the Anchorage community for 23 years. I spent 9 years here as an active duty Air Force Nurse. When I retired from the Air Force my family relocated back to Anchorage. BUSINESS HISTORY In 1997, I noticed a gap in health care for children. Deciding to start a business where I would have the ability to go to the child like old fashioned doctors used to do, is rewarding, for both my patients and myself. In the years, my service has benefited many, ie. one car families, can’t get an appointment with child’s own MD, don’t live on a bus route, mom is on bed rest or parent is ill also. I have seen children at daycare centers, supermarkets, malls along with hotels and motels. Offering my services outside of the traditional workday, is convenient for most working parents. Most insurance companies accepted and accept cash, check or credit cards for payment. PROVIDER QUALIFICATIONS 1975 – Ohio University, Associate Degree in Nursing 1988 – Wayland Baptist University, Bachelor Degree in Occupational Education 1990 – School of Health Care Sciences, Certificate as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner 1993 – University of LaVerne, 18 Graduate Credits in Counseling Psychology 1996 – McKendree College, Bachelor Degree in Nursing CPR and PALS Certified
