Nous créons un théâtre non naturaliste où masques et marionnettes se conjuguent pour transporter vers l’Ailleurs. Un théâtre qui marie l'essence du moment et les détails de l’illusion. Nous privilégions une manipulation à vue et un engagement corporel complet des manipulateurs. Un théâtre grotesque et poétique où l’image et le geste l’emportent sur le verbe. Un théâtre qui surprend et dérange, sauvage et indiscipliné. ****************** Les Sages Fous propose a theatre of paradoxes: grotesque and poetic, ritual and mundane, domestic and marvelous. The company recreates a lost world where the mask, the puppet, the object, and the human coexist. A theatre where images and gestures speak more strongly than words. A theatre that is as surprising and disturbing as it is wild and undisciplined. Nous créons des spectacles qui sont des organismes vivants en constante évolution. Chaque représentation est un laboratoire d’expérimentation plutôt qu’une forme figée. Comme nous voulons pouvoir toujours présenter, en toute liberté, le fruit de nos recherches, nous élaborons une dramaturgie spécifique aux espaces urbains et non conventionnels. Nous retravaillons, réévaluons, transformons nos spectacles. Nous cherchons un dialogue direct avec le public qui est un acteur essentiel à la métamorphose de nos créations. *************************** We create shows that are living organisms in constant evolution. The actors and puppet creators work closely together at every stage of our productions. Each performance is a platform for experimentation rather than a fixed form. We want the freedom to be able present the results of our different trials and errors, in the goal of developing a dramaturgy specific to urban and unconventional spaces. We work, reassess and transform our shows. We seek a dialogue with the public, who is a key player in the transformation of our creations.
