ONLY the Lapex uses its patented technology to target subdermal fat. Within 10 minutes per placement of the laser pads, the fat cells targeted will release their fat contents into the interstitial space between the cells. The body, (the liver in particular) then breaks down the fat into glycerol (triglycerides), fatty acids, and water. The body then excretes these fat by-products as waste or, as triglycerides, is able to burn this energy during exercise. In a single 40-50 minute session, there is a release of 40-60 grams of fat and we’ll see 1 to 2.5 inches of size loss on the first visit. (Measurements mentioned for the abdomen are always a total of the measurements at the belly button, 2 inches above and 2 inches below.)
