Description
The Louisville Police Pipes and Drums was founded in August of 2011 by Members of the Louisville Metro Police Department. With the help of the Louisville Pipe Band, members met over a year taking lessons on the Great Highland Bagpipe and Scottish Drums. Although we have the full support of the Louisville Metro Police Department, we are a separate entity. We are self funded and managed by an elected board which consist of active and retired law enforcement officers. Fan encouragement and support of the band at events is always appreciated, but ultimately, monetary donations are needed for continual success. Tax Deductible donations are gladly accepted to P.O.
