Your love of birds is the heart of our work Madison Audubon provides bird conservation close to home. With over 3,000 members in 7 Southern Wisconsin Counties, Madison Audubon Society is the most active Audubon chapter in Wisconsin and one of the largest in the country, inspiring a love of birds in people of all ages through our sanctuaries, education programs, and free field trips. Madison Audubon Society manages over 1,500 acres of critical habitat for birds, and provides education programming for urban and rural youth year-round.
Our mission is to protect and improve habitat for birds and other wildlife through land acquisition and management, education and advocacy.

The Goodman Community Center is a private nonprofit, serving people of all ages from all walks of life. The Goodman Community Center currently houses a preschool, 4-year-old kindergarten, afterschool programs for all ages (including countywide Girls Inc.), an alternative high school, an older adult program, food pantry and a fitness center. We also rent our rooms out to individuals, private corporations and community groups on a daily basis.
