Our certified trainers will be with you ever step of the way as you learn how your dog learns, what motivates them, and how to teach them to be well mannered members of society. You and your dog will receive one on one attention with training assistance tailored to your specific needs. Mission Impawsible uses scientifically proven modern Positive Reinforcement techniques to achieve the best possible result. Classes meet once a week for a month. You will also have access to free behavior advice and assistance during this time. **Meet our Secret Agents!** Diane Anderson: Diane possesses a B.A. in psychology from the University of Central Florida and has immeasurable knowledge of learning theory, operant and classical conditioning. She has worked training animals of all shapes, sizes and species for a decade. Her experience ranges from domestic pets to the not-so domestic she trained and preformed with at Sea World Orlando. She has spent the last several years dedicating her time and expertise to the homeless pets of Central Florida. Ensuring that safe pets are placed into the community and that the dogs have the training needed to be successful in their new homes. Diane also comes with over 7 years of experience teaching private obedience classes. There is nothing she loves more than seeing the “light bulb moment” when an owner and a dog really start understanding one another, and a tight bond begins to form. Diane says if you want to train your dog you need only three things: Patience, consistency and a sense of humor. Diane is CPDT-KA, SAFER and AKC/CGC certified as well as serving as a mentor trainer for Animal Behavior Collage. Ileana Rincon: Ileana or “Illy (Like “Silly” without the “S”!) graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2014 with a BA in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications. She also possess an associate’s degree from Valencia in Pre-Psychology. Ileana is a 2010 graduate of Animal Behavior Collage and is a Certified Obedience Trainer for Canines and completed her externship with the SPCA of Central Florida. (Now the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.) She continued to volunteer with the Pet Alliance and over the last 6 years has assisted in teaching public obedience classes in all levels from basic to advanced including set up, registration and organization of participating dogs’ medical paperwork. Ileana excels in instructing dog owners in proper techniques to overcome any behavioral problems they might be having with their pets. *Mission Impawsible offers all levels of training: Jr. Operative: This class is for puppies 4 – 11 months. The class focuses on socialization, desensitization and basic manners. Also covered are common puppy problems such as jumping, potty training, chewing and nipping. Your puppy will gain the valuable skills they need to become a successful adult dog. Agent in training: (Dogs 1 year and older) This class focuses on basic manners training. How to get your dog to focus on you, listen and respond. This class will cover basic learning theory and cues such as: OFF, SIT, DOWN, STAY, COME, WALKING NICELY ON LEASH and more. Special Agent: (Dogs 1 year and older.) This class is for Agent in Training graduates or dogs who have had previous manners training. This class will introduce classical conditioning and clicker training along with more advanced cues such as: DROP IT, LEAVE IT, AUTOMATIC SIT, EXTENDED AND OUT OF SIGHT STAY, TARGET, SETTLE, BACK UP and more. Secret Agent: (Dogs 1 year or older)This is the class where your dog will learn to really impress. This class is designed for graduates of either Agent in Training and/or Special Agent or dogs who already possess basic doggie manners. In this class your dog will learn things such as: Spin, roll over, give paw, crawl, Hide, speak/hush, bow, bye bye, hoop jump and a trick specifically tailored and personalized to your pet. Double Agent: (Dogs 1 year or older)This is a certification course for owners interested in having their dogs Canine Good Citizen Certified. The CGC is a certification given by the American Kennel Club. (AKC) This class will prepare your dog for the assessment and will end with actual certification. To view the 10 items on the CGC please visit: Classified: (Dogs 1 year or older) Warning, this class description will self-destruct in 30 seconds. (OK, no it won’t.) This is a Nose Work class where your dog will learn to follow scent trails, find the source and signal the discovery to you. This fun class is unique and not offered by most training companies. It is open to all adult dogs who have previous manners training. *All classes are 1 hour in length and will meet once a week over the course of a month. Along with hands on in person training, you will also receive and virtual behavior assistance you will also receive training manuals and The total cost for a set of classes is: $100.00 **Must be able to provide proof of current vaccinations. (No females in heat.) Vaccinations required: Rabies Distemper (DHLPP)
