President's Bio - Marianne B. Talbot, Ph.D. is the President and Founder of the National Rehabilitation & Rediscovery Foundation, Inc. (NRRF). Dr. Talbot earned her Ph.D. in Human Development from Virginia Tech. She has a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from the George Washington University in Washington, DC, and a Bachelor of Arts from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. She received her international certification as a Movement Analyst (CMA) from the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies, and is nationally certified as a Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Case Manager (CCM), and Rehabilitation Provider (CRP). Dr. Talbot has over 20 years of rehabilitation experience working with individuals with brain injuries and other neurological disabilities. She serves as the Clinical Faculty member at Virginia Tech in the Adult Learning and Human Resource Development Department and is the co-founder of the On-line Graduate TBI Certificate Program through Virginia Tech, serves on several disability related committees and boards and has presented on disability related topics over the past 20 years nationally and internationally.
