Nectar Tasting Room

at 120 N Stevens St, Spokane

Join us for wine tasting, wine by the glass, and bottle sales of amazing Washington wines. Nectar Tasting Room was started as a wine blog (drinknectar.com) back in 2009. Josh Wade grew the blog from zero readers to over 12,000 readers each month ranking drinknectar.com as one of the most read wine blogs in the country. In January 2011, Josh used the momentum of drinknectar.com and the growing social media profiles to open Nectar Tasting Room. The goal of Nectar is to share the breadth of quality Washington wine with the wine lovers in the Spokane area AND to continue to promote the amazing wine scene in our region. Nectar Tasting Room is still ranked #37 of all wine sites on the internet according to Cellarer.com. Josh is also the publisher of Spokane Wine Magazine and the owner of nectarMEDIA a marketing company helping businesses navigate and position their brands more effectively online. Nectar Tasting Room was voted the best new business start up by Catalyst Magazine, 2nd best wine shop in the Krem2 Best of Spokane poll and was selected by Inlander readers as #2 wine bar in town (we know you can help us be #1 next year). Josh was also voted one of the top 20 business leaders under 40 and has been featured on MSNBC.com and in Alaska Airlines magazine. Nectar Tasting Room is a 2013 finalist in the Greater Spokane Incorporated AGORA Business Leadership Awards.

Post Street Ale House
1 N Post St Spokane , WA 99201 null

The Post Street Alehouse was designed with casual family dining and classic comfort food in mind. Along with a full bar, it features seven 55-inch HDTVs, so you can watch sports and news while enjoying the "Best-Ever" cheeseburger or hand-breaded chicken strips. When it comes to the rotating selection of 26 premium beers on tap, you don't have to decide right away. The popular beer paddle provides five generous samples to help you find your favorite specialty brew. Casual dining doesn't mean half-hearted service. Owner Walt Worthy sampled 58 different cheeses before selecting the one that would define the Alehouse's incredible fried cheese. He had the sweet horseradish pickles that are used in the succulent fried pickles specially flown in because nothing less would do. And when it came to the battered halibut and chips, Worthy toured "chippies" across England to find a better recipe than his own. Not surprisingly, he couldn't.

Patit Creek Cellars
822 West Sprague Avenue Spokane , WA 99201 null

In the early 1800's, French traders named the gently flowing stream near our winery "Petite Creek". By mid-century, pioneers changed it's name to "Patit Creek" (pronounced Pat-it). Since 1999, Patit Creek Cellars has been hand-crafting elegant wines worthy of our European heritage, using only the finest grapes from select vines grown in the rich glacial soils of Washington State.
