General Info

The Ocean Action Hub was launched by UNDP and Sweden in December 2016 to stimulate citizen action and voluntary commitments to save our oceans. The Hub was created as a platform for citizen participation in the first-ever United Nations Ocean Conference, held in June 2017. The Hub now encourages individual voluntary commitments to save our oceans. The Ocean Action Hub is also a major source of information on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goal 14 (Life Below Water). The platform is managed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The Ocean Action Hub is funded by the Government of Sweden.
