Description

A rocker-lined, wrap-around porch welcomes you to this early 1920 Prairie style, four-square home, a 1991 recipient of Preservation's Historic Architectural Conservation Citation. There are three large, air-conditioned bedrooms available for guests, all with private baths, queen beds, flat screen tvs, dvd players. These rooms also feature 10-foot ceilings, working fireplaces, ceiling fans, period wall coverings and furnishings.

General Info

The first bed & breakfast to open in the City, the Inn is located in one of the oldest residential neighborhoods in Durham, across the street from the residence used in the movie "Bull Durham" and a mile from Duke University, the Durham Bulls Ballpark, historic Brightleaf Square, and Durham's Downtown Entertainment District. In 1992, Jim (the owner) came up with "Wool E. Bull" to win the name-the-mascot contest for the Durham Bulls Baseball Team.
