Olde School Brauhaus Inc. is a microbrewery steeped in traditional brewing methods. We have re-created multiple old world styles of beers with our own take on them. Our name literally breaks down to stand for many of the styles of beers we have come to brew and love. “Olde” written in old English style was chosen to represent English beers such as IPAs, Mild’s or Brown ales, Porters/Stouts, Irish Reds, and Scotch ales; “Brauhaus” is the German word for brew house German beer styles include Kölsch, Weissbier, Pils, Dunkels, Bocks, Eisbocks just to name a few. Olde School Brauhaus Inc., where bringing great beer to the growing Mid-West craft beer enthusiast is our passion. Our goal is to use modern technology and craftsmanship to recreate the oldest recipes from antiquity. From the very start at Brew Haven 2014 where we captivated the crowds with our unique beer styles, hand crafted with character, local beer lovers wanted to know immediately where they could get a second taste. Olde School Brauhaus Inc. is located in Downtown Fort Wayne. With a population of over 250,000 reported in the 2013 annual census and an estimated 365,000 in Allen County. Fort Wayne is also Indiana’s second largest city. Moreover, with only three operational breweries there is a lot of growth potential for Olde School Brauhaus Inc. in this thriving market. In the past year since Olde School Brauhaus’s conception we have taken on two additional partners, started growing seven different varieties of hops, received our articles of incorporation, and purchased a location right in the heart of Fort Wayne’s future development district that we are proud to call home. A six thousand plus square foot building and an ample outdoor space of over 5000 square feet for a future patio at 1807 and 1809 S. Harrison. We are just three blocks from Parkview Field’s TinCaps stadium. In the first 12 games of 2015, they had a record setting attendance reaching 57,828 fans for the month of April. We are confident that our beer brand will thrive in downtown Fort Wayne’s revitalization. Olde School Brauhaus Inc. will open with over twenty craft beers on tap, approximately half will be hand made in house. Our brew master Kent Schuster with Mark Burton’s assistance-together they have a combined 30 years of beer-making experience will oversee brewing. Brandon DeBaillie and Shawn Buchan will be overseeing production and property management. Mark Burton and Shawn Buchan will share overseeing the taproom and bar management. Brandon DeBaillie and Mark Burton will be overseeing sales and wholesale distribution. We will boast an ample bar area with a full view looking right at Fort Wayne’s skyline. In addition, there will be two beautiful glass front functional overhead doors to welcome the outdoor patrons into our family room setting. With the multiple functioning patio setup for relaxation, business lunch, or an evening enjoying one of the many downtown events, Olde School Brauhaus Inc., will be a destination for all.
