Well the Grade V band is off to a great start. The pipers already have the tunes down on the chanter and it really sounds good! Congrats guys! Drummers are a bit behind, we just ordered our Grade V sets from Reid Maxwell....so we know they will be good. Grade IV band will be meeting on a separate night working on their sets as well. Bottom-line is...we have doubled up our practice's and we have clinics or people coming in twice a month on the week ends. We are hitting it hard already for next years competition season.
As we wrap up 2014, our band has seen exponential growth this year to the point that we are going to field two competition bands in 2015. That's right... we will be competing with a new Grade 5 band along with our normal Grade 4 group. We are planning on adding a couple new competitions to our list as well. This will be a lot of work for everyone, but I know we're up to it! Bring it on!!!!
From our Band Family to your family.....We hope you take time today to relax, reflect and give thanks for the important things in life. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! - PPH
The current P/M Andra Stoller and the former P/M Shelley Wheelon are in Utah at the WUSPBA AGM. They are hoping to get both bands registered and new info on the tune requirements and all for next season!
The band has already starting planning for next year! New music, new sets and hopefully a new Grade 5 youth band! If you're interested in being a part of a youth (17 and under) Grade 5 competition pipe band or finding our more about this group give us a shout at email@example.com. We'll put you in contact with the Pipe Major Andra Stoller.
