Positive Impact Colorado is the recipient of the Work and Gain Education and Employment Skills (WAGEES) re-entry program for El Paso County. Positive Impact Colorado is a nonprofit organization as designated by the Office of the Colorado Secretary of State. The Work and Gain Education & Employment Skills (WAGEES) project is a community re-entry program created by the Colorado General Assembly as part of House Bill 14-1355 and expanded through Senate Bill 15-124. The grants are designed to help faith and community based organizations improve the employment and education prospects of parolees at medium to high risk for recidivism. Positive Impact Colorado's goal is help facilitate successful re-entry so that those returning from incarceration stay home for good. We remove barriers to jobs and job training, education, housing, transportation, documentation and match each program participant with a Life Coach from the community.
