Purple Elephant is a nonprofit organization that is changing the way young people think about Alzheimer’s disease on a global scale. Our commitment and passion is to empower young people and inspire our communities to be agents of change. Our organization works to help provide in-home caregiving relief to individuals and families whose lives have been impacted while caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s. Our members, "The Purple Tribe" are active in the community, standing in unity as we raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease. Our ultimate goal is a world where Alzheimer’s is but a distant memory. To create awareness and reduce the stigma of Alzheimer’s among young people worldwide; To provide in-home caregiving relief to individuals and families whose lives have been impacted while caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s; To reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s by providing education and promoting brain health; To empower young people through social change and support for Alzheimer’s.
