Let the foot-stomping, finger-licking fun begin! The Reno River Festival is Back! Celebrate with us May 12th & 13th, 2018. Now in its 14th year in the heart of downtown Reno, the Reno River Festival takes place May 13 - 14, 2017 at the Truckee River Whitewater Park. Now owned and operated by Liquid Blue Events LLC, the event attracts nearly 40,000 spectators to the shores of the Truckee River each spring, celebrating the end of winter and the wonder that is northern Nevada.

Description

The Reno River Festival is an outdoor celebration in downtown Reno that officially kicks off event season in Northern Nevada. The River-Bike-Beer-Food-Adventure-Music Fest brings an array of traditional and unique warm weather activities to Wingfield Park. The family-friendly event has something for everyone. The heart of the festival is the Truckee River, where the world's top whitewater athletes take on one of the country's top-ranked whitewater courses on the circuit. There is free live music, food, libations, an adventure park, shopping, costume contests, and a casual bike ride led by a mobile band. The Reno River Festival takes place Mother's Day Weekend, Saturday, May 13th and Sunday, May 14th, 2017. The mission of the Reno River Festival is to educate and inform the public about the benefits of recreating safely on the Truckee River, thereby helping to preserve and protect the natural resource that makes its way all the way from Lake Tahoe to the middle of downtown Reno.
