River Rose Inn Bed & Breakfast

at 1 Main Street, Elizabethtown

Built in 1914 in a picturesque rivertown, the River Rose Inn Bed & Breakfast is unique and gracious with spectacular views of the dazzling Ohio River. This was the lovely historic home of Ed Wall, a direct descendant of James McFarlan, who founded and named the town after his wife, Elizabeth in 1812. At the River Rose Inn Bed & Breakfast, we offer luxurious accommodations and our gourmet breakfasts are served in the formal dining room. Inside the inn you may relax in the formal living room or the cozy parlor on the second floor. Our wraparound mosaic tile porch provides the perfect excuse to watch the paddle wheelers and barges meander by or simply delight in the morning and evening breezes under the Magnolia Tree.
