Welcome to Stand Up for Health (SU4H) Laurier! The purpose of our Campus Club is to promote an understanding of the social determinants of health among the Laurier student body, using the Stand Up for Health experiential learning tool (It's a simulation experience!) Collectively, we want to engage students in advocating for evidence-based public policy, informed by a sound understanding of the social determinants of health. Lastly, we want to facilitate dialogue surrounding the impact of the social determinants of health on students’ own lives, and those around them.
