Tank One is a 233,000 gallon water tank, within the LA 30-mile studio zone, built specifically for underwater motion picture, TV, music, print and commercial productions. Since 1998 Tank One Studios has been at the forefront of underwater production for the entertainment industry.

General Info

Here at Tank One studios we are production friendly and have the facilities and experience to assist you in meeting all of your creative and budgetary goals. -Size: tank one is a 233,000 gallon circular, above ground, water tank. -Dimensions: 50' diameter, 16' deep -Heating: Tank One can be heated to your specifications utilizing hi-tech electronic controlled propane heaters. (please see faq's for details) -Filtration: Tank One uses six state-of-the-art hayward filters that purifies water to three microns. Whether your production calls for crystal clear water or a murkier ocean or lake effect, tank one allows the production company to color the water to meet their requirements. Tank One does not use sand filters that can result in a cloudy "flashlight in fog" effect. (please see faq's for details) -Interior: the walls of Tank One are finished with black epoxy. The walls can be painted to meet the design needs of production provided they are painted back to black with approved epoxy paint.
