Rick has over 30 years of experience in complex business, financial planning, estate and tax-related matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate tax planning, state and local taxation, business valuations, estate planning and administration, asset protection planning, bankruptcy, shareholders’ disputes and representing taxpayers in tax-related controversies before the Internal Revenue Service, the U. S. Tax Court and the U. S. Bankruptcy Court. State and local tax practice includes the handling of over one hundred cases before various local municipalities, the Pennsylvania Board of Appeals, the Pennsylvania Board of Finance and Revenue, the Commonwealth Court and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Primary focus in the estate planning area involves business succession planning and business valuation. Litigation experience includes Family, Civil and Orphans' Court Divisions, as well as the U. S. Tax Court.
